Feb 27 - Learn Procreate on Your iPad (Thursday, 6-8pm)

Join us at Juniper Tree Market to learn Procreate, an amazing software program, installed on your iPad which allows you to create art you never thought possible - and you can do it anywhere! It's an entire art studio on your iPad.

I know learning a brand-new program can be overwhelming. So, we will start at the very beginning and get you comfortable with this fun and exciting way to draw, paint + illustrate. We will create two projects as we learn the first level of tools and abilities of this amazing software program. You will be amazed at what you can create and what is possible. 

NO DRAWING, PAINTING OR ARTISTIC SKILLS ARE REQUIRED. COME AS YOU ARE. 

But I warn you, you will be creating art before you leave!

iPad and Apple Pencils are not provided

You will need to bring to class:

• iPad that is running iPadOX 15.4.1 or later

• Apple Pencil (compatible with your iPad)

• Procreate software installed from the Apple apps store (approximately $13. One Time purchase)

Make sure your iPad is fully charged along with your Pencil

18 years of age and up are welcome to register. Anyone younger, must be pre-approved and be accompanied by a paying adult. 

Class will run from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm with a 10-15 minute break midway through class

I have been teaching others how to become more proficient on computers for decades. Through DSISD Extension I taught for several years - Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint to adults. I have also taught HTML coding + Web Design and have recently been obsessed with using Procreate to design objects for retail sale and gift items. 

I love Procreate because, with this program and an iPad, you can create ANYWHERE! Learning Procreate has unleashed a creative side in me that I never realized existed. If you've ever told yourself that you can't draw or you aren't artistic. You aren't alone, I've been there. But you're wrong. You can do this!
