Feb 25 - Kokedama Class (Tuesday, 6-8pm)
Join us to make Japanese natural moss ball planters!
Kokedama means 'ball of moss'. This Japanese technique is more than 500 years old and uses moss to create an entirely natural plant pot.
Learn how to make a kokedama step-by-step, preparing the substrate that allows the roots to grow in their new pot. We'll make the ball for the base and then working with the moss and twine we'll plant the moss ball and learn how to keep it healthy at home.
Kokedama is a beautiful and dramatic way to display a plant on a saucer or even hanging.
Dress to get messy. We will provide one pair of disposable gloves for you. Bring your own gardening gloves if you don't like soil under your nails.
